Today is the Academic Awards Day

Today, many of the students at Heights are going to receive an award because they have acheived recognition in a specific subject or in activities that they have been involved in throughout the year.  They have acheived a goal that they have set for themselves. 

If you were to set a goal for yourself this year, where would it be and how are you going to acheive it?

Pizza Friday!!!

Fridays are almost always a pizza day for my family.  In the evening we relax and watch a rented video and enjoy a couple of delicious pizzas, ordered from Domino's Pizza.  We often order the same pizzas:  one large Extravaganzza and one large Brooklyn Style pizza.  But eventually we get tiered of the same pizzas and would like to make our own custom pizza.

If you had the opportunity to design your own pizza, what would you include on that pizza and what would you call it?

Thanksgiving Celebration!

Thanksgiving Day is a harvest festival. Traditionally, it is a time to give thanks for the harvest and express gratitude in general. It is a holiday celebrated primarily in Canada and the United States.

Security

Security is a common factor in everyday life which makes our community a safe place to be.  Throughout my life so far, security has changed enormously, from simply the security guard or police officer on duty to hidden video cameras and motion detectors.  With increasing security technology, security makes our community a safe place to live and move around in.
